Leaders Betty Crites has been involved at Calvary in many ways including leading “Parenting Beyond Your Capacity.” As a retired elementary teacher and reading consultant, Betty is passionate about working with children and parents and welcomes this opportunity to share some practical activities and ideas for families to use as tools to encourage everyday spiritual growth.
A Word from the Leaders Parenting Beyond Your Capacity reminds parents that God is the only reliable source for direction for building faith in Him. We must continue to feed and strengthen our faith skills through Bible study, prayer, worship, building relationships in a faith community, and articulating our faith to others. This study gives insight into ways for parents to grow in all of these areas and ways to set the example for their children. It is my hope that each participant will realize that as Christian parents, we must be diligent about replenishing our spiritual deposits if we expect to be able to be leaders for our children.”
