Love and Respect (A Marriage Study)

Description Maybe you've heard that a woman needs to be loved by her husband and a man needs to be respected by his wife. What does “love” and “respect” mean? Without a definition, it's like trying to throw a dart at a board but you don't know where to aim. That's why we're here to help. Once you understand what it means to love and respect, relational landmines can be avoided. The result can be greater love, deeper intimacy and movement toward the kind of marriage that God desires for you. This class would also help those who are dating as well as single people on what to expect in a relationship.

Leaders Keith and Rhonda Jenkins are long-time members of Calvary. Working with youth of all ages and Bible study are two of our passions. We have been active in the Emmaus and Great Banquet communities and enjoy riding motorcycles and scooters.

A Word from the Leaders “Men were created to desire respect. Women want to know they are loved and want to feel that love. This is the way we are designed. It is our hope that showing love and respect to the people in our lives, we live out God’s command to “love one another”. As relationships become stronger, community with God is strengthened, and our faith grows.”
