Small Groups

Using the 3 foundations of Bible Study, prayer, and fellowship, each small group has its own flavor.  Meeting weekly or twice a month, an investment in small group membership yields relationships which are more than superficial, the development of faith tailored to the needs and growth opportunities for the people in that specific group, a supportive community which knows our joys and struggles, and much more.
By studying Scripture together and offering prayerful support and encouragement for one another, small groups become the 'families' within the larger church family in which people can go deeper in their faith and develop meaningful relationships.

Groups that began last fall and invite you to participate are:

Parents of Elementary Children:  Weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 at the church
Prime Timers (55+):  1st and 3rd Mondays at 6:30 in homes
Empty Nesters:  1st and 3rd Sundays at 6:30 at Ray and Susan Owens' home
Blend of Ages and Stages:  1st and 3rd Sundays at 7:00 at the church
Women of all ages:  1st and 3rd Mondays at 5:45 at the church
Single Moms:  1st and 3rd Sundays at 5:30 at the church
Mature Women:  1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 1:00 at the church
Snowbirds:  Every Thursday at 6:30 at Denny's through mid-November, then beginning again in the Spring
Young Adults:  various groups will begin mid-January.  You may fill out the small group interest form and/or go the Young Adult Page in this guide for more information.

We are always open to birthing new groups if none of the above are a 'fit' for you.
Most groups meet from an hour to an hour and a half. They sometimes decide as a group to occasionally participate in a ministry like serving meals at Safe Harbor or volunteer at Home Sweet Home Ministries.
