We engage in good works as a response to the grace of God alive in us. Serving each other and serving the world are our two main expressions of works at Calvary.

James, the brother of Jesus, tells us that “faith without works is dead.”  As we grow in worship and wisdom, we naturally desire to participate in the good works that God is already doing in the church and in the world.  Good works in the name of Jesus are the overflow of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us to be the good news of Jesus to everyone we encounter in life.  We are a people who “walk the talk” – our faith is active and vital and finds fulfillment in serving others in Christ’s name.
