7:45 • 9:00 • 10:30 am
Worship is the center of our life together in faith. As we worship, our encounter with God and one another forms and shapes our lives as disciples of Jesus. It's more than just a "spiritual boost" for the week – it's a pattern of life that spills over into our homes, places of work, and culture at large.
Worship at Calvary takes two different, yet convergent, paths to faith formation:
- Our 7:45 and 9:00 services follow a historic pattern of United Methodist liturgy (the order and content of worship) with hymns and songs lead by choir and a pianist. The service has a more "traditional" feel in music and pacing.
- Our 10:30 service also follows a historic pattern of United Methodist liturgy (the order and content of worship) but is lead by a modern worship band. The service has a more "modern" feel in music and pacing.
- At all three services you'll find worshipers dressed in jeans/t-shirts as well as suits/ties. Coffee/drinks are available just inside the atrium and we invite you to feel at home throughout the Worship Center and building.
Nursery Care and Children's Programming
KidVenture offers nursery care during each Worship service.
Programming for Preschoolers through Fifth Graders is offered during the 9 and 10:30am Worship hours. Lessons are identical at both hours, but children begin in the Worship Center at 10:30. For more details about KidVenture, please visit the KV webpage.
Children are also welcome and encouraged to worship with their families. As a parent or guardian, you are your children’s primary spiritual role model, so it’s important for them to experience Worship with you. We encourage parents to serve within the church or attend Bible study while kids attend KidVenture and worship as a family at a different hour.
